Easter Lamb Applique
Bunny Egg has a companion: Lamb Applique!
This little applique pattern is easy to make and a lot of fun! Change the colour of the Body and make it a Lamb Egg!
It requires a total of about 11 m (12 yd) of material (medium worsted in beige, white, a modicum of black and optionally red, along with a tiny bell) and basic techniques: adjustable ring, foundation chain, slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, and double crochet, in addition to increases and decreases. A note on increases & decreases: I chose a “hybrid” increase/decrease of dc combined with hdc so that the Body stays flat.
Gauge is not important (per se).
Engage your creativity: use various size hooks and make a little family, adorn a blanket with Bunnies and Lambs, or make a “rag doll” working the face the same colour as the Body and then stitching the sides all around. The possibilities are endless!
Enjoy!
