Easter Pocket Mouse
KNITTING PATTERN for a sweet little pocket-sized mouse (5” tall), together with a choice of clothes for Easter: a little dress & Easter bonnet, and a top & short dungarees together with a basket to collect eggs.
Instructions are written in English with lots of photos & handy hints to help you make your pocket mouse.
This pattern has been designed as a budget make & can be made from scraps of 2-ply & 4-ply yarn. If you don’t have any scrap, you can buy small quantities of yarn such as crewel yarn / mending yarn so you’re not paying for yarn you won’t use – I’ve kept to 2 colours for the outfits to help the yarn go as far as possible.
Total Yarn (estimated) – to make each outfit & a mouse
4-ply brown yarn: 15m per mouse
4-ply white yarn: 4m per mouse
4-ply black yarn: 2m per mouse
2-ply yellow yarn: 44m – to knit the skirt, hat, basket & short dungarees in yellow
2-ply white yarn: 19m – to knit the dress’ bodice & the top in white
Decorations for the dress, hat & short dungarees
Needles used: 2.75mm (US 2) for the mouse & 2mm (US 0) for the clothes.
