Here is another take on the traditional pattern used in Eastern Light. This time the large motif is centered and the background is filled with diamonds. The hat is decreased at ten points resulting in an asymmetrical design on the crown. If I were to knit it again, I’d play with the crown design a bit; maybe incorporating the diamonds into the crown instead. But I love the design on the rest of the hat.
