Eastern Gypsy
A little slouch goes a long way! These perfect little collapsed hats are a great way to learn Tunisian Crochet in the round, as well as a simple little way to add a touch of cool to every outfit. The stitches lend themselves nicely to a natural rolling of the edge, or fold up the brim for more of a beanie effect.
Our pattern showcases 3 variations of the same hat and we show 2 different Tunisian Crochet techniques that can be used to work in the round (See our free, online videos for learning Tunisian Crochet in the Round):
Eastern Gypsy - (with tassel in violet): This hat showcases the use of color. The Double Ended Hook Spiral Method shines when used for this kind of color work. Our photography features this hat with the optional tassels.
