You will need to know how to cast on stitches, knit and purl confidently, read a row by row knitting pattern, bind off stitches and weave in ends.

3 different size blankets can be made with this pattern.

Baby 27.5” x 39” (70 cm x 100 cm)
Toddler 35.5” x 59” (90 cm x 150 cm)
Throw 50” x 75”( 127 cm x 190 cm)

RECOMMENDED YARN
chunky/ bulky yarn
You can knit with any yarn you like : wool, cotton or acrylic chunky weight yarn.
Baby 260 – 280 yards (236 -250m)
Toddler 875– 930 yards (800 – 850 m)
Throw 1565 – 1620 yards (1430 - 1480 m)
Please note, yarn amounts are approximate.
NEEDLES: US 11 (8 mm) 29” - 38” ( 80 cm – 100 cm) circular knitting needles or size to obtain gauge.
GAUGE : on #US 11 needles (8 mm)
4” x 4” (10 x 10 cm) 11 sts x 16 rows
Gauge is not important as it is a blanket and it just amends the size a bit.
