The Alternate Single Crochet stitch is a lovely stitch that gives a beautiful textured look. This is a simple stitch which is made by working alternately into the Front Loop and Back Loop of each stitch, hence the name - “Alternate Single Crochet Stitch”.

This stitch is very beginner friendly as it uses the most basic crochet stitch. You can make easy beginner friendly projects as it is a One Row Repeat pattern which looks same on both the sides. This stitch can be used to make lovely textured Placemats, Dishcloths , Pillows ,Blankets and many more.

Today am sharing the pattern for Easy Crochet Blanket Stitch Alternate Single Crochet. This stitch is a favourite of mine. Its super easy and a fun stitch to work on.
