Easy As Air Beanie! We are all looking for something wonderfully warm and easy to make. This is a beginner pattern and might just be your solution to handmade easy gifts. It takes only one skein of aran-weight yarn. Make something cozy and deliciously warm for yourself or others.

The yarn used is aran-weight and knit in the round. It has an easy lace pattern that repeats and it easy to memorize.

Sample Knit:
I have made the beanie using 1 skein (50g/ 1.75 oz.) of Garnstudio DROPS Air (65% Alpaca, 28% Polymide, 7% Wool) Aran Yarn in a medium blue colourway. Substituting other aran-weight yarns would be appropriate as long as you meet gauge.

Difficulty: Beginner
You will need to know how to cast on, knit and purl stitch, decrease, and some easy lace stitches including yarnovers (instructions provided).

Sizes: Adult Small (Medium, Large)

Dimensions: 9 -10” /23- 25cm Tall
19 (20, 21)“ / 48 (51, 55) cm Circumference

Materials Needed:
1 skein (50g/ 1.75oz) of aran weight yarn
Size US 8/ 5.0mm 16” circular needles.
Size US 8/ 5.0mm DPNs to finish.
Stitch markers, including one unique
Row counter (optional)
Scissors
Tapestry needle
Blocking Tools (Optional)
