Easy as Pumpkin Pie Set
Hey, friends. I would love to share a piece of pie with you!
This pumpkin pie coaster pattern includes a “crust” holder and two “pieces of pie” coasters. The crust holder can also be used as a third coaster. When not in use, the two coasters stack up neatly on the crust holder. Together, they look like a thicker slice of a pie.
This crochet pattern will be a fun project to work on, and the finished set will make a great gift for friends and family. “Hungry” crocheters can make multiple sets to make a full round. It’s as easy as…well, you know. Step-by-step guiding images are included.
Difficulty level: Beginner–Intermediate

- Red Heart Super Saver yarn for each coaster’s bottom layer (gauge info on yarn label: 5.5 MM/12 SC/15 R) and Lion Brand Basic Stitch yarn for each coaster’s top layer (gauge info on yarn label: 5 MM/16 SC/18 R) were used to make the set shown in the pattern’s step-by-step guiding images.
Measurement:
The size depends on the yarn weight and the crochet hook size.
As a reference, using the recommended yarn and a 3.5 MM hook, each individual coaster has a radius of approx. 4.75’’ and spans approx. 60 degrees (one-sixth of a circle). When the coasters are seated on the crust holder, the whole set has a radius of approx. 5’’ and is 1.25’’ tall.
