Easy Asymmetrical Scarf
This wisp of a scarf is just right to add a bit of warmth and flair to any outfit. Explore filet crochet as you work up this lacy swatch of fabric with jaunty asymmetrical edges and a fancy picot edging.

Pattern notes
The filet crochet scarf/shawl begins at the short end, increasing at one edge. The shawl/scarf is finished with a lacy picot edge. The piece is reversible with no WS or RS.
Errata:
Row 24 should be: Ch 3, dc 2, (1 dc in ch-1 sp, dc) 2 times… At the end of the row, the ch-4 tch counts as (ch-1, dc). Where it says “dc 1 in ch-1 sp, dc in 3rd ch of tch, turn”, you should be working 1 dc in the 4th ch of tch, this counts as a ch-1 sp, then dc in the next ch as well, which is the 3rd ch of tch.
Row 25: The second dc 6 should be dc 5
Row 32: The last dc 6 should be dc 5
Row 40: Ch 4, sk first dc, dc in next st, dc 6…, ending with dc 6…
Row 48: Ch 3, dc 2, 1 dc in ch-1 sp, 1 dc 2 times, ch 1, skip dc, 1 dc 3 times, 1 dc in ch-1 sp, 1 dc 3 times…
Row 49: end with dc 5, 2 dc in tch.
Row 51: Ch 4, sk first dc, dc 1, ch 1, sk dc, dc 2, 1 dc in ch-1 sp, 1 dc 3 times…
Row 52: …; rep from across, ending with 1 dc, ch 1, sk ch-1 sp, 1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc in 2nd ch of tch, turn
