The pattern and concept of this blanket is super simple. Hand dyed yarn is just such a pleasure to work with. This pattern is very easy to knit and ideal for beginner knitters or anyone who wants to make a project for a gift.
I recommend hand dyed yarn. But you of course can knit from one-color yarn.

SKILL LEVEL : beginner
You will need to know how to cast on stitches, knit and purl confidently, read a row by row knitting pattern, bind off stitches and weave in ends.

NEEDLES: US 6- 7 (4 – 4.5 mm)

GAUGE : on #US 6 - 7 needles (4.0 mm-4.5mm)
4” x 4” (10 x 10 cm) 19 sts x 30 rows
Gauge is not important as it is a blanket and it just amends the size a bit.
