This Baby Carrot Cocoon and Hat are great for baby photos, for taking babies visiting, and for cuddling. This is especially adorable for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Easter, but is sweet on newborn to 3 month old babies anytime.

The yarn used is knitting worsted weight yarn doubled for the body of the cocoon and hat, and used singly for the hat tassel. This set is fast and easy to knit for beginning knitters and fun for experienced knitters too. There are 4 pages of step by step instructions and 6 large detailed photos. The knitted tassel at the top of the hat looks like carrot leaves and is fun to make.
