Easy Bag (aka Nookie Schnookie)
I gave my daughter, Mandy, a Barnes and Noble “Nook” for her birthday. She absolutely loves it. To protect my investment and make things easier for her (she has two little kids), I designed a “nookie schnookie” for her to carry it safely and also to hold her phone. This is a very quick and very easy knitted project. Two skeins will make three bags. I put a big button on the front of the pocket and added cool leather handles from Homestead Heirlooms. (These handle sets include buttons and waxed linen thread. I didn’t use the included buttons in this project.)
This little bag would make a great gift for anyone who has an e-reader! Bag measures about 8 1/2” wide by 10” when flattened. Handle measures about 32” long above sides of bag. Pocket measures about 4 1/2” tall by 4 1/2” wide.
