This Easy Crochet Bath Mat Pattern makes a soft and squishy crochet bath mat. It is a simple and quick bathmat pattern that is customizable and has a built-in border. Enhance your bathroom (or kitchen or any room in your house) with this crochet mat!
ABOUT THIS CROCHET MAT
- This pattern is worked with two strands of yarn held together for the entire pattern. Using two strands held together creates a squishy, dense fabric that is perfect for a crochet bath mat.
- You can use any size 4 (medium) yarn so you can choose any color that matches your home decor.
- The pattern creates a crochet bath mat that is approx. 20″ wide and 30″ high (the average size of a bathmat). The pattern includes instructions on how to adjust the size.
- Make this mat for your bathroom, kitchen or any room in your house!
ABOUT THE PDF
- The PDF of this pattern is a 3 page, printer-friendly document that you can download, save, print (in color or in black and white) and make notes on and keep forever.
- It is laid out into easy to follow sections and includes step by step instructions and pictures.
- The pattern is also available on my website. The PDF includes everything from the website but in an easy to read, follow and print document.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
Skill Level: Easy
Size: The pattern creates a mat that is approx. 30” wide and 20” high.
Yarn: Approx. 900 yds in total of any worsted weight, size 4 (medium) yarn. This pattern is worked with two strands of yarn held together for the entire pattern so you can either separate your yarn manually or use multiple skeins. You will need 2 x 450 yds. I used Pound of Love by Lion Brand in the color “Pink Salt.” This yarn is size 4 (medium) and 100% premium acrylic (a skein is 1020 yds / 932 m and 16 oz / 448 g).
Crochet Hook Size: K/10.5 (6.50 mm).
Other Materials: yarn needle, scissors, measuring tape, two stitch markers, non-slip liner (I used an 18” x 50” roll of Gripeze Shelf & Drawer Liner), sewing needle and thread.
Terminology: Written in English for right-handed crochet using standard US crochet terminology.
