Hats for all of the kids in the family with just one easy to follow pattern!
Sizes include: Newborn – 3 months, 3 months – 6 months, 6 months – 12 months, 12 months – 3 years, and 3 years – 10 years.

This pattern is written in English using standard crochet terms.

Skill Level: Easy - Basic crochet knowledge of stitches and terms is necessary

This pattern is worked in all double crochet for the main part of the hat with a single crochet row to finish. Pattern also includes instructions for adding earflaps and braided ties.

These hats are super cozy for the kids and adorable to begin with, but you can also add any embellishment you want to really personalize them.

I use this pattern for all of my own character hats, including Spider-Man, Minions, Flower designed, Owls, etc. The options with this basic easy double crochet beanie are really endless!

Materials needed:
Crochet Hook: I/9 5.5mm
Worsted weight (4) yarn: 1 skein
Tapestry Needle: For weaving in ends
