While this pattern is written specifically to be worked with three skeins of Freia Ombré Worsted, you can use it with any yarn, any gauge. Simply use a needle that gives a nice firm rib stitch without being too stiff, and work a gauge swatch. Cast on as many stitches as you need according to your gauge for the circumference you want (an even number) and work until you have the desired depth.
