Recommended Yarn:
It uses a very small amount of yarn so is perfect for yarn scraps.
Depending on how big you want your butterfly to be, you can use any yarn.

Examples shown on the pattern include the following:

Small: #2 weight (4ply) with C-3mm hook
Medium: #3 weight (DK) with E-3.5mm hook
Large: #4 worsted weight acrylic with G-4.5mm hook
Extra Large: #4 worsted weight cotton with H-5mm hook
