Easy Cabled Scarf
by Liz Cassidy
This easy cabled scarf is knit with aran weight yarn (approximately 260 yards) and larger-than-usual needles to give the scarf a nice drape and make it a quick knit! A garter stitch edge and two kinds of cables combine to give this scarf a nice, lofty texture.
Finished measurements (after blocking) are approximately 5.5” wide by 63” long.
You may also use a bulky yarn such as Lamb’s Pride Bulky. This will result in a slightly denser fabric and a wider scarf. You would need approximately 230 yards of a bulky yarn to yield an approximate 7” wide x 64” long scarf.
