This cowl is an easy knit. It is knit flat and joined at the end either by sewing a seam or joining with a 3-needle bind off (your choice). Pattern rows are a simple repeat. Wear wrong side out or right side out, both look good. This cowl is made with Caron Cake yarn but any aran or worsted weight yarn will work. The fringe is made by dropping stitches at the end and pulling them out along the edge - no need to tie on fringe! Cowl is long enough to drape doubled around your neck.
