Easy Color Block Brioche Scarf
This is a very easy pattern, perfect for a first attempt at brioche. The directions are written out step by step, and there’s a video tutorial for how to do the brioche stitches as well.
I recommend using US size 8 (5mm) 16 inch circular needles for this project. (You could use two double-pointed needles as well, but I found it hard to keep the stitches from sliding off the end.)
I used one skein of Caron Cakes in the Faerie Cake colorway and one skein of Loops and Threads Impeccable in Navy.
There is no firm gauge for this scarf, and I knit until I liked the length (which fortunately corresponded with when I ran out of navy yarn).
