This crochet concert bag uses one color of yarn but can easily be converted to use multiple colors or surface crochet. The bag is worked in pieces before being crocheted together via the shell stitch edge. I used kumihimo for my strap which is easy to do as long as you can find a piece of cardboard and scissors! This made my strap strong and thick without twisting.

You will need a US size I hook and Aran weight yarn. If you want to do your strap like I did mine you will need to cut a circular disk our of cardboard with scissors. If not, you can make an I-cord or use a piece of leather as your strap.
