Crisscross Pocket Shawl is a crochet pattern that works up quick and easy with main body consisting of double crochet stitches crossed to give it an “X” pattern. The trim includes a technique that gives the shawl a raised texture similar to “brioche” in knitting. Included are lots of tips and photos throughout the pattern.

CROCHET LEVEL: Immediate Beginner
I have listed this for Immediate Beginner level, but don’t be afraid to try. I have enclosed detail instructions and photos for any special stitches which are comprised of your basic single, half and double crochet stitches.

SIZES:
1 size fits most (instructions included for increasing width or length). Finished size from pattern sample is approximately 62” x 18.5” without fringe.
Your finished size can also be adjusted by using 1 size either up or down in hook size from size used in pattern, adding to main body row count or adding to beginning chain when beginning.
