This is a very simple baby blanket pattern, just a repeating block of double crochet and chained flowers, which I adapted from an ancient pattern I inherited from my grandmother. The blanket can be made to any size by increasing the number of repeated blocks (my finished blanket was 9 by 9), and the pattern would probably work well with any soft size 3 or 4 yarn (just use the matching recommended hook size).
