This is a very simple project, a beginner can challenge it safely, and I tried to make every step clear and easy.

I used no abbreviations in this DIY crochet pattern, made many photos and comments to every difficult place, and I hope it will be very helpful for you!

Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, single crochet, double crochet
American terms

Materials:
Yarn: cotton thread/yarn size 3 or 4.
With yarn size 3 or less you can make a doily or a cute coaster. With yarn size 4 and more it will be a good pot-holder.
Hook: the doily on photo is made with 3.5mm hook. (US E4 / UK 9)
The size is 13cm/5.2’ in diameter.
