The Easy Does It Poncho is an easy-as-pie way to knit and wear the lovely Fourteen yarn (by Juniper Moon Farms) for yourself. See special note below for yarn alternative. This pattern is a great first garment project for new knitters, but even the most experienced will appreciate the simple luxury of this supple yarn.

This squishy garter stitch poncho is knit in one size and meant to fit lots of different sizes of people in lots of different ways, but it’s a cinch to modify to make it just right for you. Fasten sides with pins, tack them down, or add a simple button-hole on the right side of your work if you prefer the sides tacked!

Special Note:

Juniper Moon Fourteen has been discontinued since this pattern has been written. So, if you don’t have Fourteen in your stash, Juniper Moon’s Beatrix is a good choice, just slightly thicker. Here are modifications if using Beatrix.
