This simple headband uses an eyelet pattern across the top, then decreases into a band around the back of the head worked in Garter Stitch (or I-cord). Sized to fit a woman but can easily be customized for a child or different sizes.

I used 25 yards of yarn; you may use more or less if you alter the pattern.

This pattern was available on About.com, which no longer exists. Some patterns can be found on The Spruce, or on the Internet Archive but this does not seem to be one of them.
