This is a fairly easy pattern for a light weight wrap. It’s heavier than a shawl, but just the ideal weight for a spring or fall evening, or even if you’re sensitive to air conditioning in the summer. It knits up fairly quickly and would make the ideal gift, for yourself of someone that’s special to you.

The wrap is made up of a single lace stitch that is both written out line by line, and charted. The final size of the wrap is 19 inches by 72 inches. If you would prefer to skip the grafting, it would be very easy to make this wrap in a single piece, as the stitches are similar, when going in either direction. There are also instructions for an optional crocheted edging contained within the pattern, should you want it edged.

Skill Level: Beginner + - Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of lace knitting)

The yarn used in the sample is Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sport in the colorway, Iris

The wrap was expertly pattern tested by Norma Fehr who can be reached at: norma.fehr@ hotmail.com, and is known on Ravelry as, “mamapie.”
