Any 100% cotton of medium thickness / hook 2,5 mm - 3 mm - 3,5 mm for thicker yarn.

It’s diameter is from 2,7 inches till 3,9 +/- inches (7 - 10 cm)

Can be crocheted in larger size, over 3,9 inches (10 cm) The size depends on the thickness of the yarn and the chosen hook.
