The yarn is so wonderful that I had to frog the pattern a few times before I realized that a simple garter stitch would show off the yarn to its best advantage. I also had to experiment with different needle sizes to make the fabric solid enough to be warm without getting too rigid. I prefer to work garter stitch in Purl which is a softer looser stitch for me.

4 skeins of Nashua Natural Focus Ecologie Wool, “Old Fustic”.
Size 10 US/ 6.00 mm knitting needles.
Crotchet hook US F/5 and large eye yarn needle for finishing.
