Yarn used :
red heart super saver chocolate brown
red heart super saver warm brown
red heart super saver white
scrap yarn (any) red
scrap yarn (any) green
scrap yarn (any) blue

Final measurement for the house was 9 inches wide by 7 1/2 in high by 5 inches wide

Hooks I used 2 different ones in this pattern because of the tightness it creates for the decorations hook size I 5.5mm for the house and 2.5mm for the decorations.

This easy to create gingerbread house pattern is easy to understand and can be decorated less or more depending on your preference I was going to add lights to it by simply hand sewing different color yarn maybe even add gingerbread men on it let your mind be creative and of course have fun!! I’ve seen in the Christmas section for the holidays these decorations available little candy canes and little presents I think if im not mistaken there are even mini Christmas lights .
