Easy pattern with simple decreases.
Both hand-knit and machine-knit instructions are included.

Ease and simple shaping produces a cape that can be worn for many years as the child grows. Options for easier hood construction (no shaping) with simple closure and simple shaping with Russian kitchener closure are provided.
Cape is knitted in 4 panels and seamed. Live stitches are picked up around neck and hood added after seaming panels and edge trim is knitted after hood is complete. Garter stitch is worked by purling each row to assist correctly picking up two strands of Fun Fur.
Cape is lovely in fur or seed stitch edging.
Yarn substitution should be simple with this pattern as exact garment sizing is not necessary.
