Easy HDC Headband
Try one of the easiest crochet headband patterns. This project uses basic stitches and works up super quickly. You can easily adjust its size thanks to its simple construction. It’s basically a rectangle with a clever front twist – a perfect combination for beginners!
The headband is worked flat as a rectangle, then seamed to create the front fold. The rectangle is 10 cm (4 in) wide and 50 cm (20 in) long before sewing, but you can easily adjust the size. The initial number of chain stitches creates a longer edge of the headband.
I used one skein of Hobbii Tweed Delight – exactly 32 g (1.13 oz) of the color 02 Ivory Neon. You can use any other Aran-weight yarn.
The pattern uses only chain stitches and half double crochets.
