NEEDLES
2 sets of circular needles: US 2½ - 3.0 mm, 40 cm/15.75 in length or shorter. If you do not have two sets of the same size needles, you can replace one set with US 4 - 3.5mm or US 6 - 4mm needles. The second pair will be used to cast on, hold and bind off stitches and will not affect the gauge.
Tapestry needle.

MATERIALS
14 (15) 16 (17) 17 (18) grams 0.49 (0.53) 0.56 (0.6) 0.6 (0.63) oz of sport weight cotton.
For this pattern samples, I used Drops Safran Egyptian cotton (50 g, 160 m / 1.76 oz, 175 yards)

GAUGE
10x10 cm (4”x4”) = 20 sts on US 2 1⁄2 - 3 mm needles in stockinette stitch in the round. For this pattern only the stitch count in the gauge is important.

SIZES
The pattern comes in 1 (2) 3 (4) 5 (6) sizes based on the head circumference.
The finished headband is designed to have 13-18 cm 5-7 in negative ease from the head circumference to ensure it fits very well and does not slip.
