These sweet little Valentine’s hearts are super simple.  The pattern requires only basic crochet skills and works up quickly so it’s a great project for crochet beginners.

They also make a great scrap buster project as they do not require a full skein of yarn unless you plan to make hundreds of the same color.  Simply use up the spare yarn you have floating around the house!

You can use them as appliqués on pillows, blankets, or apparel.  Or, you can get even more creative and use them to fill the space in the gift box for that special someone or attach sweet notes to them and use them in a romantic treasure hunt.  The possibilities are endless!
