I’m sure you will think of other ways too.
So much fun!

It’s been getting very cold where we are and I was looking for something different than another hat. This wide and chunky ribbed headband / ear warmer is what I came up with. It can also be used as a neck warmer because it is so thick! And it’s easy to get on and off because of the buttons on the back. Only basic sewing skills needed. If you don’t want the buttons, no problem. There is an option for keeping it button-less. Of course, it can also be made without all the fun embellishments and be kept plain. It’s still pretty that way too. Use any colors.

This is a very easy pattern that you could finish in a day or a weekend, depending on your skill and time. These would make cute Christmas stocking stuffers and gifts for co-workers, teachers and friends. You also have permission to sell any of your creations.

Even if you don’t have chunky yarn, you can also use two strands of #4 medium worsted weight yarn. Try different color combinations.

The thickness makes it very warm.

I hope you like it!
