Easy Home Slippers
I have one size written out. The toe and heel have tighter stitches to keep them warmer, as those are the main parts of feet that get cold. Any worsted weight yarn will work for this pattern. In the photos I’ve used Red Heart, as it was trial and error in making it. I’m looking forward to adding child and smaller adult sizes later. To get a smaller fit, I suggest doing less rows. I wear a size 7-8.5 in women’s shoes and my husband wears a size 10.5-11 in men’s shoes, and the slippers made from this pattern fit us both. I wear mine almost all the time. They keep my feet warm and toasty on the chilly Fall evenings. I came up with this pattern while trying to figure out what I wanted to make for family for Christmas this year. They work up in about 1-1.5 hours depending on your speed. Tension and gauge do matter in this pattern. I tend to crochet a little looser than others, so you may have to go up a hook size or two.
