Enjoy a Jolly Jingle Holiday with my “Easy Jolly Jingle Holiday Hat” design. This jester-inspired hat is an easy knit for the beginner knitter. It’s knit in two pieces, then seamed and crumpled (The fancy word is “ruched”). The holiday ribbon adds a festive touch and the jingle bells provide just the right musical note.

If you’re new to ruching, don’t worry! I’ve included detailed instructions with color photographs to make your first ruching project easy. I’ve also added a mini-tutorial on how to sew an invisible seam.
