This scarf is fast and easy to knit - a great beginner project. I designed this scarf to be open and lightweight for the warmer months. The scarf can easily be knit in a day. You will want to make a few in different colors to go with your spring and summer wardrobe.

The scarf is a shorter length - only 40 in. - but you can make yours longer if desired. I like a shorter scarf for the spring time. This project only takes 1 skein of yarn - if you make yours shorter like mine you may be able to knit 2 scarves from 1 skein of the Simply Soft. The scarf has a really nice drape knit with this yarn.

Gauge is not critical in this accessory - the scarf is very stretchy because of the openwork stitch. The pattern is a 1 row repeat.
