The little girl doll is knitted in the round using size 4 double pointed needles. The head and body are worked in one piece with the arms and legs being inserted and sewn in later. The pattern also includes instructions for her top down pullover striped sweater, using size 6 and 7 doubled pointed needles. For both the doll and the sweater, any DK weight yarn can be used. I may have forgotten to include specific instructions about making the belly button, but it’s very simple. Just take two or three stitches at the center of the belly with the same yarn used for the body of the doll.
