This easy hat knitting pattern is worked on 2 needles and only needs one skein of fingering weight (4 ply) yarn to complete it.

The lace border adds a slightly scalloped edge to the hat and is very simple to knit despite its deceptively intricate appearance.

The hat instructions are included to fit newborns, 12 months, child/teens, and adults, and are designed with approximately 2” of negative ease so that the completed hat fits on the head snugly and securely.
