I wanted a ladder yarn necklace pattern where you didn’t have to do it in strips, cutting and tying every single time! Eek, who likes to hide all those ends anyway?

So this pattern is the result. Done in one long chain, it’s simple, easy, and best of all, SUPER versatile and pretty.

There is no gauge. If you like using an I hook better, go for it. It’s pretty flexible.

I’ve been having fun experimenting with different lengths when I wrap the cardboard which gives me a very layered look for the necklace.

Also, beads. How fun. I’ve just been getting the super cheap small (not seed-bead small) beads that I can fit a tiny crochet hook through, and this has been adding a lot of variation.
