When Lollypop Farms (https://www.lollypop.org/) sent out a call for snuggle blankets for their shelter kittens, we knew what to do! Please enjoy this beginner-friendly blanket pattern. These knits are specially designed to fit the crates at the Lollypop shelter. The blankets will go with the kittens when adopted as a way to make them feel comfortable and loved as they transition to their new homes!

Materials
Yarn:
Two balls Plymouth Encore Chunky yarn (100g each)
OR approx. 300 yards of any chunky weight yarn

Needles:
Size US 10 (6.0 mm) circular needle, at least 24” long

Notions:
Darning needle for weaving in ends.
Scissors forsnipping ends

Skills Used:
Casting on, knitting, binding off, weaving in ends.

Gauge
Approximately 14 sts & 28 rows/4” (10cm)

Sizing
Approximately 20” x 20”
