I show you step-by-step how to make a hat with a brim on a knitting loom. The video shows me using the smaller adult-sized hat, but the technique will remain the same no matter which size loom you are using.

For the specific hat I made, I used the 36 peg round loom which measures 9 inches in diameter. I also used two strands of worsted weight yarn held together. You can also use 1 strand of bulky or super bulky weight yarn. If your loom has pegs that are closer together, you can use 1 strand of worsted weight or even a lighter weight yarn depending on the loom and preference.

These hats are quick and easy and don’t use up a lot of yarn so scrap yarn would be great for these!
