Easy Mohair Sweater

An easy to follow knitting pattern for beginners / advanced beginners, with clear instructions and photo illustrations.

Sweater is knitted in rib stitch and stocking stitch.

Sweater is knitted bottom up on circular and straight 5 mm needles.

Pattern is available in one size, L / XL, which would be a perfect fit for UK size 16 / 18 or US 12 / 14.

The sweater is moderately oversized and is a boxy shape.

A total of 2400 meters of yarn is needed for this sweater. This pattern uses Drops Kidsilk yarn - 11 balls in all.

Each ball of Drops Kidsilk yarn weighs 25 grams and measures 210 meters. It is a lovely, soft yarn and is extremely good value.

The pattern uses 6 balls of Drops Kidsilk yarn in no. 38 Chalk colour, and 5 balls of Drops Kidsilk yarn in no. 5 Heather colour.

Other similar weight silk / mohair yarns could be substituted.
