This pattern is suitable for beginner knitters who have finished at least one full project, and was co-designed by Mesha McMullen.
This triangular (cuneate) shawl is made to adjust. I have displayed it in a fairly large size, but you can make it as small as a neck wrap simply by stopping your knitting any time you like, and do the finishing work. It will still be the same shape but smaller.
You can also adjust the striping and multi-colored patterns to suit your taste. If you want more color-change stitches, and less garter row changes, that’s an easy adjustment. You can also pick your own colors, making it more subtle and sophisticated, if you like, or even brighter, if that’s your preference.
Skill Level: Beginner (assuming some basic slip stitch skills)
All three stitches used in this pattern are charted and written out line by line
This pattern was expertly tested by Deb LeBlanc who can be contacted at: artiesgirl85 !at yahoo.com. The yarn used in the sample is Sportmate by Lorna’s Laces. The pattern was co-designed by Mesha McMullen.
