Gauge is unimportant - and you could use DK if you wish although it would be larger and need more yarn to achieve the length. The sample was aggressively blocked because I like a long length, it need not be so long.

I LOVE miniskeins, but so many people have trouble deciding what to do with them. This pattern looks great with miniskeins in speckled, variegated and solids. It can obviously also be knit in regular size skeins/balls.

As it was designed for an advent box of yarn, the samples shown use 24 miniskeins of 10g each, but any old scraps of about 10g each will work well, or you could even just use scraps in differing lengths.
