Skill Level: Easy

The Easy Peasy Baby Hat is graced with a seed stitch border edge while the remainder of the hat is knit stockinette. The hat is written in 2 sizes; newborn and 3 to 6 months. It looks great in one or more colors and both plain or with adornments. The instructions are for the hat only and do not include any adornments. The samples are knit in a DK/Sport weight yarn.

Finished sizes: 14” (newborn) and 15” (3 – 6 month) circumference

Yarn: DK/Sport Weight, 55 yards
Yarn used: Cascade 220 Superwash Sport, 100% Superwash Merino Wool, 136 yards, 50 grams,

Needles: US#5 and US#6 16 inch circular, US#6 double points
Stitch marker - need 1
Blunt Tapestry needle
Row Counter (optional)

Gauge: 5.5 sts = 1 inch in stockinette stitch
