I often see yarn sales and there is often only one skein of a beautiful yarn or I have only one skein of a favorite yarn left in my stock. I wanted a pattern that would make a nice one skein project. Depending on the yarn you choose and the hook size you choose, you could get two of these from one skein of yarn.

This pattern is so versatile that you may use any yarn you like and in any weight you like. Hook size is your choice as well. Choose a size that gives a very loose and soft stitch. Easily adjusted to other sizes by increasing or decreasing starting foundation half double crochet strip.
