Procedure:
The wrist warmers are knitted in the round, starting at the wrist and working toward the fingers, using the magic loop method. The wrist warmers are knitted in the round, starting at the wrist and working toward the fingers, using the magic loop method. Begin with a standard long-tail cast-on. Knit in the textured pattern as described. Knit a gusset and set aside stitches for the thumb. Continue in the textured pattern across the back of the hand. Bind off stitches normally. To make the wrist warmer shorter or longer, adjust the point where you set aside stitches for the thumb and/or knit more or fewer rounds before binding off.
Note! The right and left wrist warmers are identical. Place the thumb gusset randomly over one of the three knit stitches in the textured pattern. The wrist warmer will naturally take the shape of either the right or left hand during wear.
