A super easy cowl, long scarf, head warmer which can be made up in a couple of hours and beginner friendly. It is light weight, stretchy and very warm.

The pictures show the design using a 12 mm hook and a winter weight yarn. Use a larger hook and/or heavier yarn for a bigger design, reduce the size of the yarn and/or hook for a smaller design.

As the stitch is singular you can add as many chains to start with as you want - to make it for a small child, or add chains to make an extremely long design.

There is nothing set in stone, just follow the alternating rows to create this lovely textured scarf.

I’m happy to hear any suggestions for improvements and/or additional embellishment.

There are no issues with you producing and selling this item; all I ask is you don’t claim this as your own design and give credit if you publish it elsewhere.

If you create this, please send me a picture I would love to see other’s creations.
