Gauge is not important since it’s a ribbed scarf. You can adjust the number of stitches in a row (divisible by 5) to make the scarf as wide as you’d like. Length is also up to you.

For a 35 stitch wide, 6 foot long scarf, I used roughly 3 skeins of Lion Brand “Amazing” yarn.
